Domain Renewal Date | Does it matter to the search engines? Find out here…

By Mike Hobbs On August 31, 2010 Under Internet Marketing

I am always looking for ways to improve my website rankings and website functionality and I ran across a site call Website grader.  This site grades millions of websites on the internet and lets you know what % of sites that you are better than.  Awesome thing is they tell you what to fix to make it better.

One thing I ran across while doing my own grading was my domain renewal date. Apparently if your domain is set to expire within a year Google could look at that as a bad thing and not give your site as much authority over another site.  So the easy fix is to go renew your domains for more then 1 year in order to look better to the search engines.

If you buy your domains through godaddy you may want to bookmark this site so you can find the best discounts and rates on renewals and new domains:  http://www.longest.com

Let’s all make the commitment to be around for the long haul!  Go renew your blog domains for more than 2 years and show Google you are going to be here long term!

Make it a great day!

Imagine what it would mean to you and your family if you could work less than ONE HOUR per day, five days per week… and within 3-6 months… ADD a few hundred, even a few thousand to your bank account each and every month. Click Here to discover more about the autopilot money system I recommend today. We pulled in over $18,000 in 45 days. How much do you want to cash in?
