You deserve vs need success.
I was on a call, and I heard someone say the word deserve.
The word deserve brought back a lot of memories.
When I was struggling and had very little money, I scrounged up enough money to make it to an event where one of my mentors was speaking. His name was Mark.
Mark taught me something very profound at that event that has brought me through a lot of the negative beliefs that I have had in the past.
I want you to remember this word: NEED.
Deserve vs Need
I remember thinking that I needed to get to this event…
I needed to make money…
I needed this, I needed that…
I was struggling forever.
I went to the event and talked to Mark in person. I told him that I needed to get out of debt because I was about $100,000.00 in debt at the time. I didn’t announce it to the world, but I told him as a mentor.
Mark taught me a lesson on deserve vs need.
“You need to eliminate the word need and replace it with the word deserve.”
Huh.
Instead of saying I need…
Deserve vs Need
You deserve money.
You deserve to pay off your house.
You deserve to be debt free.
You deserve to go on trips with your family.
You deserve to make money in the home based business industry.
You deserve your freedom from corporate America.
You deserve it!
You don’t need it – you deserve it!
You can apply this to anything in your life. If you are going at it from a place of need, you are going to struggle. When you start thinking about it as something that you deserve, you are going to strive and hit it harder.
Deserve vs need – you deserve it!
