Lack of coach-ability in business is one of my pet peeves…
Lack of Coach-ability in Business
I received an interesting email today. This is kind of a pet peeve of mine. I feel like some people getting into this industry have a lack of coach-ability in business. Have you ever met people like that?
The email was from someone that had joined the program and had decided to quit. His argument was that he ran into something that he didn’t know he needed to purchase and he didn’t understand.
I don’t know if you have ever done this – bought a program and discovered that there were other tools that you needed to purchase?
My friend, you don’t have to understand everything on day one. Did you understand everything when you went to school for the first time? When you started your last home-based business, did you understand everything on day one?
You are not going to learn everything on the first day.
When you get into a business, just know that if they don’t tell you about every single product, fee, and tool on the front end – it is not a big deal. Think about shopping at Wal-mart. They don’t advertise every product they sell outside on the front doors. Any store, including an online business, operates the same way…
You buy a product, and learn that there are other products that are related that you can also purchase.
If there isn’t a product to sell, how do you expect to make money? If there is only a $25 product to sell, how do you expect to make any big money?
My pet peeve is the lack of coach-ability in business. You have to be coach-able and stick with it for more than one day to understand how the business model works. You have got to give it your all for 30, 60 or 90 days or as long as it takes.
Lack of Coach-ability in Business
Get with someone that knows what they are doing and LISTEN. There is a lack of coach-ability in business, especially the internet marketing industry, that needs to stop. If you don’t understand why there are other fees and other products, you don’t quit. You get with your coach and you understand why it is that way, and it doesn’t happen in one day.
You have got to be coach-able, engaged and have more commitment to your business, your life and your goals. Think about why you joined your business and make that your commitment.
When you join a program, just know that there is going to be other costs. I went $100,000 in debt because I didn’t know what I was doing. Now you have more coaching and more people to help you succeed than any other time before. If I had access to the coaching that is available now, I wouldn’t have gone $100,000 in debt.
Be coachable. Listen to and follow the people that have the results you want. If you received value from this message, share this with others.
