Not long ago, Eric Worre produced a YouTube video entitled The Devil's Greatest Weapon NMPRO #854.
Eric Worre's message on Network Marketing and dealing with discouragement is so timeless that I used it as the theme for a team assignment during one of our daily masterminds.

Eric Worre produced the video after meeting with a colleague that was having a bad day. It reminded him of his first three years in Network Marketing and dealing with discouragement. He built and re-built his organization from scratch seven times in three years!
Here is what he said.
“There comes this moment in your career when you start to wonder…
You know what; maybe this just isn’t my thing. Maybe Network Marketing is good for some people, but maybe I am not one of those people. Everybody can’t have success. Maybe I am not one of those people that are not meant to have success in Network Marketing.
I have a message for you. That is a complete lie, this idea that you‘re not meant for Network Marketing; that you don’t have the skills necessary to succeed in Network Marketing; that you somehow don’t have the DNA required to succeed in Network Marketing. It is not true. I understand discouragement.
I heard a story one time that the devil has all these tools to use against you. But, his number one tool is discouragement. Because, if he can embed discouragement into your life, then all the rest of his tools work. Everything else gets more power when discouragement can sink its teeth into your life and into your business.”

Eric Worre pointed out that none of the top leaders in Network Marking have anything in common. The success they have achieved had nothing to do with their background, their DNA or the skills they brought with them as they entered this industry.
This is what Eric Worre said is required to be successful in network marketing and dealing with discouragement:

- Willing to Work
- You’ve got to be coach-able
“More than anything else, you just have to make a decision: You know what? I am going to make this happen. I am not going to try… I am going to do it!
Here is what is going to happen to you over the course of your career.
Your up-line is going to let you down. Your company is going to let you down. The product is going to let you down. Your down-line is going to let you down. You are going to let yourself down. You are going to beat yourself up.
Network Marketing isn’t perfect, but it still is better. It is the best way for freedom that I’ve ever seen anywhere in the world, and I’ve seen it all.
Freedom. It’s worth the effort. It’s worth fighting through the bad days.
Don’t let anybody ever steal your belief in yourself. And by anybody, I mean YOU, too.
Don’t let yourself start to plant that little seed of discouragement and start expecting bad things to happen, because good things are going to happen in your business if you will stay the course; if you will do what is necessary; if you will get better. If you will just decide that you will not be shaken.
