Where to Focus with a Full Time Job

What are the most important things to focus on in growing your Internet business
if you are currently depending on income from full time employment? In other words, if you are building your fortune part time,
where do you focus your efforts? — Cathy Bridges
Where to focus with a full time job is a great question! I am sure there are a lot of people that join these home based businesses that have to do it part time because they spend most of their time at a job. There really are only three areas of your business that you should focus on.
1. Mindset
2. List Building
3. Conversions
First, Mindset.
In order to get out of that job, you are going to have to work on yourself. Here is what I suggest… To and from work, listen to some audios. Use time when you are in the shower. Be listening to audios every day and be working on your mindset during what I like to call “dead times.”
When I was a full-time employee, I would use every moment I could of “dead space time” on working on my mindset so that I could get out of that dead end job.
I was actually throwing boxes in trailers at one point and they let us wear headphones. So, I was listening to audios while I was doing that. Then, that changed and I started listening on my lunch break and on the way to and from work.
Mindset is where to focus with a full time job.
Second, List Building.
If you don’t have a team, or you don’t have a list, then 100% of your time should be focused on crafting your capture page so that you can generate leads. Create a lead magnet of some sort, giving away something of value for their information. Craft that to generate leads and focus on getting traffic to that capture page.
Outside of mindset, 100% of your time should be spent on getting leads. List building is where to focus with a full time job.
As soon as you have some leads, then you want to start putting some time into conversions.
Third, Conversions
Part of converting could be sending a daily email. Create a bonus for your leads to join your team personally. Once you do that, you can be thinking about doing some videos on your off time to help with conversions.
Where to focus with a full time job? Three main areas – mindset, list building and conversions – until you can quit this dead end job. As soon as that job is gone, you will just have more time for mindset, list building and conversions.
Where to Focus with a Full Time Job
If you are just focusing on leads and you aren’t growing as a person, you will quit. You won’t find a lot of need to really go anywhere. You have to be working on the mindset every day to become a better person, a better you.
If you are focusing 50% on generating leads and 50% on mindset and nothing on conversions, you will have a big list and a strong mindset, but no one will be converting.
There is balance in everything…
If you have a huge list, focus more on conversions than on list building. If you have no list, focus more on list building than conversions. If you have a big team, then you may want to focus some conversion time for your team to help them upgrade to products if you have that kind of a compensation plan.
Focus on these three main areas and I promise you will kick that dead-end job eventually – especially when you are very diligent in these three areas.
