Paul, our business partner that does the morning mindset call shared a story that hit me hard, deep down inside, and made me consider – why are here?

Why are you here on earth? What are you here to do?

Paul’s friend was a truck driver in North Dakota, putting in 70-90 hours a week driving truck.
He noticed Paul’s lifestyle of having money and time to spend with family. A couple of weeks ago, he started asking Paul about his business.
“All I want is to be able to spend more time with my family. I don’t mind working hard or long hours if it will allow me to be home. I am feeling about to the end of my rope even though I know there are people that have things way worse than I do. There is no job I want more than to be around my kids and to be a dad. Right now I don’t have that option with my current situation. I want that option. Can you help me, Paul?”
Paul invited his friend to a hangout.
February 7, 2013, his friend messaged: “I got on the hangout. It was interesting. I am certainly intrigued. All I know is that I need to change something if I’m going to expect to live the life I want to live. I will keep in touch.”
A few days ago Paul got on Facebook and found out that his friend was killed in a head-on collision driving back from North Dakota, leaving behind a wife and five kids.
This was a good guy, a good husband and father, working his butt off trying to provide for his family.
Life is short. Time is so precious.
We don’t have time to put off doing the things that are important.
Many of us made decisions a few years ago that were important, that needed to be made to put us in a position where we are now today. We can live the lives that we want to live. We can have the time and be with our children.
Why are you here? You need to answer that question, and answer it fast.
