We just finished a 21 Day Video Challenge and I promised that I would give a shout out to all the people that completed it!
Mark Harbert No Fear Video Marketing Course
So where did this challenge come from?
I started going through a course from my buddy, Mark Harbert. A bunch of other people went through the course with me. We all decided to do a 21 day video challenge together. Every single day, Monday through Friday, we completed a video. (We took some days off… Saturday and Sunday were make-up days.)
I promised to give the winners some exposure, so I did a LIVE Facebook broadcast and have uploaded the video here on my blog. Go give them a shout out on Facebook for completing this challenge.
There are a lot of people who are afraid to do videos and afraid to take action. I am super proud of these people that got out of their comfort zone and made a video every day.
There were quite a few people that participated. Not everybody finished. In fact, I did the challenge while attending two different live events and missed three of the 21 days. I didn’t even finish my own challenge. How crazy is that? I was busy, but there is definitely no excuse. I’m just saying that most people don’t finish challenges, even leaders and those that are leading the charge. So I am very proud of these individuals.
Congratulations to the 21 Day Video Challenge Winners:
Jack Kvaska
Kerry Lang
Nadezhhda Khvorosttian
Shahidah Akbar
Yukiko Iino
These five individuals finished the challenge completely. There were a lot of people that did a lot of days – 10 plus videos. To everyone that did the challenge, I’m proud of you. 10 videos in 21 days – that is more than most people do, you know what I mean? Some of you did five videos. Some of you did your first video ever! I know Jodie Clark, who just never did videos ever – was doing videos.
I’m especially proud of this person…
Sandra Keep
She was so determined to finish the challenge that she did 21 videos in one day. She was trying to upload all of them on the last day and I stopped her. I told her not to post them all in one day just to win the challenge because it is actually more effective to post one video at a time. Upload one video, syndicate it, and email it out. I told Sandra to spread the videos out and I would still give her a shout out.
So, six people finished the 21 day challenge. Please go give all of them a shout out on their Facebook page and tell them congratulations for finishing the 21 day video challenge. This is a feat that a lot of people don’t do.
When I was first getting started in business, getting over my fear of video was a big thing for me. I’m a naturally introverted person, so getting on video was hard for me. It took mentor, after mentor to tell me to just do it anyway for me to actually start taking action. So, that is why I am so proud of these guys for completing the challenge, doing it and getting over that fear.
What Habits Are You Creating?
Creating some habits around marketing can be really empowering. Is it a daily video, a daily LIVE broadcast, health goals? Whatever it may be, are you creating empowering habits? Part of the reason we did the challenge for 21 days is because 21 days is a great start on the journey to creating a habit. Obviously, the longer you do it, the better.
What kind of empowering habits do you have? Let me know in the comments. Are you going to do your own 21 day challenge? Challenges can be very powerful.
Here are my tips going forward…
The 21 day challenge is really just to get you used to doing videos. It is actually more effective when you strategically do videos. For example, my new strategy is going to be doing weekly videos.
I will be doing a video weekly, upload it to YouTube, embed it to my blog and email it to my list. I will be doing videos more strategically and with more quality.
I will be doing a lot more Facebook LIVE broadcasts. Make sure you subscribe to the LIVE. I will be delivering a lot of valuable tips because it is just so easy to click a button and go. Like my page and make sure that notifications are on so that you get the notifications that I’m going live.
I like to help home business entrepreneurs through innovative marketing strategies. I take what I learn, innovate it and share it with you!
I look forward to seeing you on my next livestream.

I love the question of “what habits are you creating” a lot of people are content with the way they are and aren’t willing to change a few things to create new productive habits, especially when making videos. great info here!

Mike thanks so much for hosting the 21 Day Video Challenge. Participating was transformational for me. I went from being someone who only made videos because I knew it was necessary to a place where I now actually enjoy making them. Amazing how quickly you can develop new, good habits.
You know man! You’re an awesome person!

Video marketing is very powerful. And doing them for 21 days is a great habit to form!
I like the idea of a 21 video marketing challenge; especially for the person, who needs to get acclimated to video marketing!! It gets them in the habit and gets them used to being in front of the video cam!
I am learning this as I am starting a business. It is hard but need to start. Thank you . I need to look at how to do this for a product as I have one.
