Learn Who Needs Help in Your Community!
Yesterday I was at church and they were doing a little bit of a lesson on a website that is available to anyone in any community, religion or background. The website is JustServe.org.
Have you ever wanted to do service for people but you didn’t really know where some service opportunities were? JustServe.org has opportunities listed all around the world. It’s a simple as typing in your zip code. You and your family can now go and serve your community. I love it because if you have a project that you need service on, you can list them on this website. Maybe you need someone to mow your lawn or have a grandparent that needs care. You can submit your service opportunity. Again, this is open to anyone in any community from any faith or religion.
UPDATE: Here are some more resources if you are a senior looking for service opportunities: https://sixtyandme.com/senior-volunteering/

Example Service Opportunities
There are 72 service opportunities in my area. Check out some of the service projects currently listed…
Go help someone learn how to play chess. You get to volunteer to be a chess teacher for a couple of hours per week on Thursday night.
Help in a soup kitchen.
Mow a lawn.
Help someone move.
I know that there are a lot of people that like to donate money to charities. Donating money is one way to serve, but I think it is cool to actually go there and do service in person as well.
If you are someone that likes to serve others, go to JustServe.org – open to everyone.
Comment below if you think this is a cool website and share this post. Let’s get the word out about this awesome website!
