After losing a blog & having some database issues in the past. I know how important it is to back up you blog content and files. This can be done automatically on your behalf and doesn't have to take up any of your time once its all setup. Most importantly the 10 minutes it takes you to set this up can save you HOURS upon HOURS of time trying to get your blog fixed or dealing with you hosting company to see if they somehow have a backup for you…
So go download these 2 plugins now!
#1 – WP-DB-Backup (this one backs up your database automatically)
#2 – WordPress Backup (this one backs up your plugins, themes and uploads from the wp-content folder automatically)
Yes you can back these up manually in your C-panel account, but with these plugins it is done automatically for you each and every week or day depending on how often you want it to…
Have you ever lost content on your blog without having a backup? Let me know below!

Thanks for sharing this blog here, it seems very helpful and interesting.
No but I downloaded the plug ins because it’s always better to be safe than sorry! Thanks for the helpful information 🙂
I love to fiddle with the plugins and got myself into so much trouble locking either my website down or not being able to get into my WP Dashboard. I have, o occasions deleted a post which is, unfortunately, an unrecoverable step.
I am not very familiar with php or css (learned by trial and error) and going into the codes in my cPanel to fix it I usually end up creating worse problems. I have installed those 2 plugins a while ago and they have saved me numerous times. Now, before I start fiddling with anything, I make backups first.
Thank you for this post and video, this will help a lot of people.

I can’t thank you enough for this. This is way cool. Thanks mike. I love the updates on your blog. Kudos.
Great video Mike, I already backed mine up even before the video finished
Hey, Mike…I liked your youtube channel and appreciate your friend request. Very good information so I came to your blog and really liked this post from a while back. Wish I had done this several months ago! Doing it now for sure! Thanks, again…

This was really helpful. I just had to move my site to a new hosting, this post would have been great before 🙂
