In this video I will show you how to easily create subdomains in Godaddy…
This is a really easy thing to do but if you get stuck, just call godaddy and have them do it for you.
No reason you should let something like forwarding a subdomain hold you back…

Great video Mike good idea! Does it work even if the domain name is hosted by someone else rather than where you bought the domain?
If its hosted in cpanel there is actually a spot in Cpanel for subdomains as well. You just have to find it…
I need to use sub-domains more and only have a couple of set up…they can definitely be powerful. I also need to learn how to create these awesome “how-to” videos you share! Is there specific software you use or is it just through your webcam? My inquiring mind would like to know 🙂
I use Camtasia for these videos… Glad you like them..
Great job explaining sub domains and setting up sub domains at Go Daddy. Very easy to understand.

Way to break down the steps for creating and setting up subdomains! Excellent information and easy to follow. It’s funny, we just recently (on one of YOUR trainings, maybe a month ago) figured out that those were available and that they’re free. Thanks so much for sharing the value as always. You ROCK!
Great video. I will definitely use this info and it will save me some money on new domain names.
Great explanation, always wondered why to use and how. Thanks
What's the difference between a hyperlink and a subdomain…at least as far a function?
a hyperlink is just a link to any page on the web. A subdomain is a way of segmenting your domain into different units, like mail.domain.com or blog.domain.com, etc. I don't know why you would create one and forward it, except maybe if your page has a long, ugly link, and you want to clean it up.
Very helpful, thanks a lot!
Thanks mike , I needed this! very encouraging!
