Hey Internet World! Here is my Insanity in a combat zone update!
I just wanted to update you on my recent accomplishment of my 60 day Insanity challenge in a Combat Zone… I work 12-18 hours each day & I've made time to do Insanity every day as well as build my home business. In fact, this past month I have increased my residual income by 5k per month. Not bad!
There were 5 of us that took this Insanity Challenge and due to injuries, 2 of them were not able to complete it fully but made it about 3/4 of the way through it. I made us some “Insanity Tabs” for us that completed it. Now I know these tabs are not authorized to wear on our uniform but we put it under our flag so no one sees it. It's our way of saying we completed Insanity in a combat zone! haha
I encourage you to finish what you start!
Was it hard to find an extra hour each day after a grueling 18 hour day? Yes! Was it hard to get back after a mission tired and not wanting to do anything, but force myself to go to the gym and jump around with Shaun T? YES. AND we did it! So I know if you put your mind to it and have a burning desire to finish what you start you will lose sleep if you have to in order to do it!
Anyway I hope you all have a great day. I'll be home soon…
Your Friend,
Mike Hobbs

Have you finished Insanity or are you working on something you plan to finish?
You are great at making the challenge. “Insanity” patch is awesome. What a great reminder of where you were and what you did. Thanks for everything you do, for our country and for your teammates. You are the perfect example of “Leader”.
Many blessings to you and your family. Can’t wait for your safe return.
Ya we just paid a local shop to create them. Only $5 a piece…
Awesome Mike!
I love that hard core fitness “stuff’ buddy…
I train hard still at 55 years young.
We all know you are a great leader from online.
And thanks for what you folks do over there!!!
Thank Nicholas, I just started doing crossfit and it a great replacement to Insanity. Hardcore! haha
Mike
Thanks Mike for all you do for our country and inspiring others to work hard. Setting goals then making sure you work on them each day, is one of the best examples of what we can accomplish. Being a 30 yr retired MSG I salute you for your comment staying the course. Keep leading
Hi Mike
You have been such an inspiration to me. Your training and the help of others in MSS has helped me move ahead in business and I have now even started my dream business as a virtual online assistant 🙂 Couldn’t have done it without all the support and great training I got this past year. Sure miss you being around but I am grateful and Give thanks this Holiday for your being in a combat zone doing what you do so that we can enjoy our life and spend time with our families here.
Looking forward to hearing you have safely returned
Happy Thanksgiving
Kat
Mike, Congratulations!!! Well done. I love the patches, nice idea, under the flag.
Your notes from the ‘field’ are inspirational and continue to prove to us back home that with perseverance, anything is possible. Thanks for being a leader.
Be safe, be smart, and get home to your family safely.
We also are anxiously expecting our son to be back from Iraq before Christmas.
Make it a great day with blessings!
