I remember it well I was on a picket line for a union action and at 645 am on the radio I heard a small plane had hit the trade tower.My buddy lived close by and went home to get a portable tv and of course just about 25 minutes later the second plane hit and then pictures started to show up and for the first time we had been attacked on our soil. I definataly remember that morning.I had friends working on the site and family in military during this time and even today. Freedom is not free and we need to remember all those involved on that terrible day.
At & 7:50 A.M. CST I jumped in my pickup to drive to school and the radio was reporting that a (1) plane had just struck one of the Towers in NYC. I did not have enough information at that point. I remember thinking that some small Cessna single engine plane probably accidentally hit the Tower. It wasn’t until I actually got to school and everyone was watching News coverage that I became aware of the severity of this situation and that it was a possible Terrorist attack. I was stunned and shocked like everyone else; I couldn’t believe what I was watching. Then when that second plane hit my jaw just hit the ground and I could not believe what I was witnessing. This was truly another moment in time which would go down in history as one of those historic events fozen in time; just like Pearl Harbor, the JFK Assassination, and the 2 Space Shuttles that we lost in flight. Everyone prolly remembers where they were when this tragedy happened.
I hope & pray that ALL Americans NEVER become desensitized or forget what happened on Sept. 11, 2001. I hope the Men, Women, & Children who lost their lives that day will NEVER be forgotten! MAY THEY FOREVER REST IN PEACE & MAY GOD BLESS ALL SURVIVORS!
I’ll still looking for a way to get me out of SSI/SSDI but I’m originally from NYC, My mother passed right before the election of 2008, she was on dialysis for 9 years. My father still lives in Seagate, next to Coney Island. I’m in northern VT. But, I remember it clearly. My father served in the Korean War ’49-’52.

I was in the Navy for 8 years.On 9-11 I had just took my 2 young sons to my mothers on my way to work, when I walked into her house the first thing she said to me was a plane just flew into one of the twin towers, and as we watched further the second plane hit and we knew then it was no accident. That Event will not Stop America , it only made us stronger.God Bless America.
11 years have passed. But questions remain very much – in fact blew the tower? In the plane crashed into the Pentagon or was it a missile? What it was – an act of terrorism or a reason for the aggression of America around the world? America – is a bastion of freedom and democracy, or global aggressor?

According to the filmmakers, the twin towers of the World Trade Center collapsed not because of the fire in after the planes crashed into the buildings, captured terrorists, and as a result of controlled explosions. And eyewitnesses of the tragedy – confirm this hypothesis.

Film prepared by an international group of experts and documentary led MEP Giulietto Chiesa, became a sensation in 2007 in Europe. The picture caused a great public interest in the show and in the European Parliament at the Rome Film Festival.
In the film “9/11. Zero investigation” a lot of questions that for 10 years there is no answer. For example, where the missing fragments of the plane crashing into the Pentagon, where the records of numerous cameras located around the Pentagon, how is it that the constructed from steel towers of the World Trade Center have developed carefully on its base without damaging nearby buildings?
“What happened after September 11? – Says Giulietto Chiesa. – The war in Afghanistan, then there was a war in Iraq. On turn Iran. World today is much more restless than before. Situation has deteriorated.”

Thanks for training again today and for all your generous support. Mike put all of his memories of September 11th into our Blog post today. He is a retired firefighter and was at work that day …however at home here in Canada. He remembers vividly the emotion at the Firehall that day .
