I have had my blog up for about 12 months and it now has a page rank of 4. Which means with this cool plugin called CommentLuv I can now help you rank higher in the search engines. So all you need to do is leave a comment below and put your Blog in the website section and let my blog go to work for you. Its simple! Come back daily and comment on a new blog post, and then find other higher page rank sites that have the CommentLuv plugin and comment on their blog too.
Here is the info and name of the plugin I use to do this
CommentLuv – links out to the last post of people who comment on your blog (this is how you can get your blog get lots of comments – It gives people some ‘luv’ on outbound links)
Just do a search for it in your wordpress backoffice and install it. Then SHARE this video with others so they can learn about this awesome plugin as well.
Best part is all this is FREE!
Make it a great day!

Hey Mike,
thanks for another great tip. I’m having trouble with my CL. I have deleted the plugin, reloaded, I’m using the latest version of WordPress, I’ve tried everything but when I leave a comment on CL equipped Blogs, it continually says “No last Blog Posts to return” and I have about 60 Posts. No idea how to ‘fix’ it. Have you ever run into this problem before?
Thanks, Bryan
You can also try registering your blog at http://comluv.com/member/
That’s what I did and it now allows me to see the last 5 blog posts in the drop down.
Hope that helps…
Mike
I think I just figured out what’s wrong. For some reason commentluv has set up a Blog with my URL and they add something on the end of my URL to go to a blog on their site, which has no content on it.
I made an attempt to delete that blog but it says no go. I submitted a Support Ticket prior to discovering this so I hope to figure this all out soon, which after 6 months of working on it won’t be a bad thing. HA!
I HAVE CONQUERED! Finally, after I can’t even tell you how much time, effort and sweat equity I’ve put into this (ok, how about ‘mental’ sweat equity), I have beaten the system and figured it out.
Turns out I had a ‘broken’ code(?) in my Favicon file (just one lousy missing semi colon, not sure why or how it was even ((not)) there) but it was preventing CommentLuv and my RSS from being ‘read’. Changed my Favicon and it all seems to be working.
I have battled this forever but with my being ‘computerally challenged’, it has been a workout to say the least. One that surely makes P90X look like a walk to the mailbox. HA!
This proves that perseverance and Taking Action really does pay off in the long run. Now I don’t have to leave my URL right next to my signature anymore, looking like a Spamaholic.
Hello Backlinks, come to Papa!!!
That is Awesome Bryan!
I knew you could do it. Just a matter of time…
Keep up the good work…
Mike
a lot of bloggers and marketers overlook this very simple way to get ranked and get re-syndicated. Thanx for reminding me about it … Ive been so caught up in marketing lately that some of my syndication has been lacking … =)
Mr. Jason!!!
Thanks for stopping by!
That’s what I do best. Remind people on simple little marketing methods to help them out!
Mike
Just installed this plugin yesterday and I like it already! : ) I’ve actually been seeing it all over the place lately.
Commenting is a great way to not only get a couple extra backlinks, but also get some quick traffic. Maybe not a lot, but in the beginning every little bit helps!
Ya the traffic will depend on the amount of traffic the persons blog gets, but either way it still helps give you those links. Look for high PR blogs that have this plugin and bookmark them. That’s what I do…
Talk later Landon!
Mike
Thanks for the post, Mike. Haven’t had much attention to blog-posting lately and welcome the reminder for activity. This definitely is a great tool for supporting each other. Aloha!
Right on Nelly,
Ya let’s get you back on the blogging bandwagon. I am finding it to be one of my favorite marketing methods!
Let me know if you need any help!
Mike
Well, after some major scrambling around, I thought I had it figured out. I had already ‘registered quite awhile back. Supposedly my URL was ‘banned’ for some reason and so I ‘unbanned’ it and it still says no posts to return. Of course CL won’t take any questions so I guess I’m out of the CL loop. Bummer.
Hey Mike and Christy,
I have been using this little gem since day 1 of my blogging days. I wouldnt live without it, I get a high number of visits to my blog from comments left on other peoples sites.
You did a great job it letting more people know about it.
Good Job,
Beth 🙂
Thanks Beth,
I’m glad you started off your blogging on the right foot. I have been blogging for about 12 months and I actually just recently added this awesome plugin last week. I’m glad I did…
Mike
Hi Mike!
Thanks for inviting me to your Blog…it’s so nice meeting you. 🙂

Commentluv is all about helping each other out! Win Win for everyone…
Mike
Hi Mike,
thanks for sharing this tutorial video. While I already have been using CommentLuv, there was some new information for me in your video.
Take care
Oliver
I’m glad I could share some new info for you. Yes I notice commentluv being used by a lot of top marketers now days so it’s time to start teaching this simple concept to others…
Have a good one Oliver!
Mike
Hi Mike!
I couldn’t agree more about this plugin! It is a win-win situation for all. The commenter gets backlinks and you get ACTION on your site and Google LOVES a website that has action on it!
Great and easy tip!
Kim
Yes I agree 100%! That is the main reason I put it on my blog. I saw someone else recommend it and I thought it was an awesome idea. So lets all pass this on and create a great commenting community!
Mike
Hi Mike!
Thanks for the video! I’ve been using ComLuv for a while and it’s one of my ‘essential’ plugins listed in a recent post! I have received a ton of traffic from other blogs using it, and I have the rel=nofollow setting by using the ‘Do Follow’ plugin so that people who do leave their comments will get back links this way.
Great post!
Wishing You Awesome Success,
Vicki
That’s cool. I will look into the “doFollow” plugin a little more.
Thanks for stopping by!
Mike
Are you really getting that backlink value? The comments are stored on Commonluv or IntenseDebates servers. Are they going to be searched by Google and who is really getting the backlink credit?
You will see the link is directly going to the persons last blog post from my blog. This means my blog is linking to yours. So yes it’s a true backlink for you.
This is all basic SEO. Some blogs have a “nofollow” in the comments which will not give you backlinks. But the cool thing about commentluv is it’s designed to give you link juice. That is why it’s so popular.
It works…
Mike
Hey Mike,
Great post, thanks for all the uselful information.
Heading over to WP to get this plugin now!
Thanks for the backlink!
RichardP
That’s great Richard, I’m glad I could help you see the value in this plugin. I will be watching your progress.
One suggestion on your blog would to put a custom permalink so your keywords are in your URL of your blog posts. Just login to WordPress, click permalinks, then put this in the custom slot:
/%postname%/
Hope that helps!
Mike
Sorry for barging in with a link, just like this, considering it’s my first comment and I’m a new RSS subscriber, but I figured this guest article posted at my blog recently, would be relevant to this article: CommentLuv – A Link Builders Dream Or The Latest Waste of Time? – feel free to check it out and leave a comment with your thoughts.
PS: CommentLuv is great 🙂
Thanks for sharing, I went ahead and left my feedback on your article.
Be sure to stop by and see whats up every now and again!
Mike
Hey Mike,
Awesome post and great points to make. You can never assume every blogger knows just what to do, especially if they are just beginning. They might as well be fully loaded right out of the gate, and will with great info as this!
Thanks
Joe Young
Yep that is my goal with this blog. Point people in the right direction without overwhelming them. Take it one step at a time…
Mike
Hi Mike,
It is amazing what leaving a little comment luv can do for your site, SEO wise. I wrote an article about the idea of leaving comments, how it’s just good business, plus an act of courtesy and appreciation! (I have to give credit to Oliver Tausend for the add to “It’s just good business,… “, the “plus an act of courtesy and appreciation!” are his words. He commented on my article, and recommended the add.)
Hey Mike, I was unable to pull up the post I was referring to above… the drop down window went behind the footer bar for some reason when I clicked on the arrow. If you’d like to read the post about leaving comments which parallels this video, please visit the following link: http://john-engle.com/the-fundamentals-of-comments-for-personal-brand-marketing/
P.S. There isn’t a “nofollow” attribute tied to the Comment Luv link which is awesome!
Thanks so much for your informative video!
John Engle
Thanks for sharing that John, we all should be sharing the love!
Mike
Hey Mike,
I’ve connected with you on a few of your webinars before. I just came across this post, and I agree completely. As a matter of fact I just installed commentluv on my own blog yesterday!
Grats on getting PR4! That’s Awesome! I also just noticed your Alexa rank is really good to!
Best wishes to you!
Joe Shaw
That’s cool Joe,
I do webinars for the world every Thursday night on different subjects. So keep an eye out on my invitations!
Yes I totally agree that the commentLuv is a must for a plugin. It helps all around and I’ve been using it since my blog was born :). Great post!
Hey Roz, Thanks for your feedback. I look forward to giving you some more cool blogging tips!
Talk later,
Mike
Hi Mike,
It worked!. I had to wait until I actually had a post on my blog to try it out, lol. Thanks for all your help and I am looking forward to working with you.
Patricia
That’s great Patricia,
I’m glad you became a part of the team & blogging already!. Let me know how I can help…
Mike
Hey Bryan!
I absolutely LOVE this plug-in!! It’s so awesome. 🙂 What’s even cooler is that you got your page to rank 4! I’m thinking you should write a blog post about how you accomplished that one. Thanks for sharing
~Erin Smith
Ok, I will give more blogging pointers in the future. Just taking small steps so people will learn faster…
Have an awesome day Erin,
-Mike
Hey Mike! I LOVE CommentLuv! It is a super cool tool to help gain page rankings and back links! You have some wonderful points and CommentLuv is definitely a MUST HAVE in WordPress Plugins! Thanks for the great video and post! 🙂
Such an easy simple post and way of helping so many Mike. It is in his spirit of giving that success comes to the “go givers”. Comment Luv is an awesome plug in! Took me a while before I found it but once I did it was a no-brainer. Congrats on the 4 ranking.
VaNessa
What a great way to share. I have heard about comment Luv before but didn’t really take it very seriously. Thanks for the info. I’ll install it straight away.
Oops – I think I mistyped by blog URL last time. Trying again!
Hello
This is my very first comment in your blog.
But, after seeing the video ypu gave us I couldn’t try.
Why Not ???
Now I am waiting
But I want to thank you for your help
Thanks Mike!
This plugin is the best.
My blog is fairly new, so I am looking forward to
a higher ranking.
Thanks for the share.
Stay Amazing,
K.L. Horne
Hey Mike as always thanks for the Great Tips we need more Leaders online like yourself!
Dave 🙂
Hi Mike,
Thanks so much for the post.
I had seen the blog posts next to comments on some blogs and wondered how to set it up.
I think I have it all set up now.
Nice to know, I am also going to use commentluv!
However, good commentatery stuff here each one is with different question, answer, advice and ideas!
Keep it up please, it is really amazing!
Thanks
Great level of info right here. There’s so much information around about this topic that occasionally you cannot see the wood for the trees but you’ve pitched this at just the right degree so that the lay person can comprehend – thank you!
Hi Mike,
I’ve been using CommentLuv for a while now but have only just realised that my backlinks were pointing at my feedburner feed and not my site. Now rectified but something that users need to be aware of to make sure that they get all of the Google juice coming to their site rather than going to Google.
Looks like most of your commenters have got it sorted but just thought I should point that out.
Adrian
I love Commentluv plugin. It’s great for the reader because it encourages us to participate more actively on blogs and apparently it’s great for the blog’s rankings as well.
Hey Mike, Your blog has a lot of good stuff, I look forward to checking it all out. I read an interesting post on Scott Ewart’s blog about the difference between “do follow blogs” and “no follow blogs”. Apparently, the back links commentators leave may not being giving all the SEO boost one thought. I am not sure if it applies to the comment luv links also. I personally like comment luv a lot. People should also know that even if you don’t have a blog, you can still use comment luv in conjunction with your Twitter, as I have done.
Hi Mike
Came accross your video on You Tube and wow great post!
I haven’t come seen Comment Luv before (though it is now on my website! ) Thanks 🙂
I ???? ??? m? blog up since January 2010 ??? ?t also now ??? a page rank ?f 4. It just shows that with hard work and consistent effort you can reap the rewards!
Any way take it easy.
Anthony
I had a problem with it showing my posts and realised it was a problem with my feed – I had to ping my feed at Feedburner. I don’t know much about RSS and feedburner, I simply followed the instructions that someone told me and it seemed to work!
Mike, great post on getting link juice from your PR 4 site. CommentLuv is an awesome plugin!
Great info you have here Mike and thanks for sharing.
Commentluv is awesome!
There are lots of ways to get yours to get optimized. I for one has gotten the said benefits on this. I am very much satisfied with the said results.
I recently discovered commentluv. Its great!
in my experience it doesn’t really help much as google “discounts” comments links.
I ???? b??? using t??? ??tt?? gem ????? day 1 ?f m? blogging days. I wouldnt live without ?t, I ??t a high number ?f visits t? m? blog fr?m comments left ?? ?t??r peoples sites.

G??? Job,
Hey Mike My name is Linda and I have been following everything you post. I am new to Empower Network. Sorry I am not on you teamr. But I do have a question on Comment Luv. On my Empower blog do not have plugins. So is there any way I can install the program?
Everything is very open with a clear clarification of the challenges.rnIt was really informative. Your website is useful. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Mike, I’ve just installed this plugin, it is another one of the great tips you share most graciously.
