The Internet has made it so easy to get access to music, movies, Internet Marketing products, tools, etc, for FREE!
…Now are they really for free? No
They are from people uploading them and sharing them with others!
…It has almost become the norm. If you want a song you go download it from a file sharing site!
If you want an Internet Marketing product you go download it!
…If you want to watch a movie you go download it, from a file sharing site!
Is this right? Will it actually save you money or hurt you financially?
I can tell you this. I made a decision a while back when I bought my new iMac computer that I would not download any product that was shared online. I would buy everything!
…Just by making that decision my income increased! Interesting!
The other day I bought a song on itunes and my wife asked why I had done that? haha
Even the most honest and ethical people I know (my wife) has these thoughts of “it's free why pay for it?” mindset, so I know for a fact that most of you reading this probably have felt the same way!
I want you to challenge yourself to not download products that you can buy. Not only do you hurt the person that created the product but you set blocks on your income.

I agree that it’s ethically “wrong” to do this… But I’m curious to know…
Why do you think it is that when people download files from these sites, instead of spending money on them would set blocks on their income?
What if it was something else that caused your income to grow, which happened to take place after you stopped downloading files for free?
Just curious to know how you came to that conclusion.

It’s all a mindset shift. I did do other things that helped me earn more money, but every little mindset shift you go through takes little subconscious blocks off from holding you back from income. When I started letting go of the money I was trying to save more money showed up. Just one of those universal laws you don’t really know but just works. You have to think too why it’s one of the 10 commandments to not steal.
I live by the saying what you give away you always get to keep! So if you are taking away then you also take away from your income…

Me downloading something for free has NOTHING to do with how much money I make…it probably DOES hurt the person selling it but that's just the way it is Thanks to the internet…I guess they can always depend on people like you to actually buy their stuff…but I will NEVER pay for something I can get for free! Just saying!
Yes you can make money and also steal stuff, that is not what I said, but to hit the BIG incomes you have to come from a more abundant mindset. When I realized this it lifted the mental blocks holding me back from earning big income. Our system Earned $130k in July and $80k in August. We have been doing online marketing since 2007 and have always been stuck at 5-7k a month till I lifted this little mental block! It works… Going against the law of the land & 1 of God's commandments can never be good either! haha I am guilty of it too, so not judging, just sharing part of my success and what brought me to it!

If it is a paid product, and I really need it for my business then I purchase it. Intellectual property is still property, and I respect that. I only have licensed software on my computers–I may go to discount sites, but everything has a license. I even check the images I use and any music to make sure that it is not licensed. If anything is NOT legal, it is a genuine mistake–I actually make a real effort to AVOID stealing.
Besides the ethical/moral issues, there is a strong business concern. In the long run, NONE of us can make money online if we do not respect the rights of others to make money online. Without encouraging an online "lawful" culture, the long-term money won't be here.
So, I choose not to steal. And I respect you, Mike, for realizing the error of your ways and stopping. I also respect your integrity for admitting your past mistakes. It's easy to steal if you want to, and it's easy to find a million justifications. None of it is right.
Right on Karen! It has become more of a norm lately so people actually don't think its stealing. I didn't for the longest time, just something everyone did! It's all good, we learn from the past!
