I have a quick marketing message and tip, especially for those of you who are doing paid traffic.

I want to just give you guys a heads up on maybe why clicks don't convert, so you are not getting the results that you deserve when you buy clicks or solo ads – any kind of paid media where it is just a cold lead coming into your funnel.

What do I mean by cold lead?

There are traffic vendors out there where you can literally just buy random clicks from the internet. What ends up happening is that a person goes to a web page that has nothing to do with you, they put their email in and get onto your list.

So, you can purchase 1000 clicks and get 500 leads and sometimes not even have a single sale. Why is that?

Here is why clicks don't convert…

First, you’ve got to make sure that the traffic source is legit. There legitimate sellers, but I will tell you that there are a lot of things out there that are shady. Be careful with who you spend your money with.

Here is the thing…

Even with the good sellers, the reason you have such a low conversion from lead to sale on that kind of traffic, is because of one word…

AUTHORITY

Why Clicks Don't Convert To Sales!

These people that are coming in through your funnel like that, they don’t look at you as an authority at all. Why is that? Well, they came in through a cold traffic method where they don’t know you from anything. You have zero authority. People buy from people in an authoritative position.

When people see you as a leader or an authority in the marketplace, they will buy from you instantly. The problem with cold traffic is that you have zero authority.

So, what is the solution?

You can do three to four minute videos teaching simple concepts to help you establish yourself as an authority.

The best way to gain authority is to teach!

So these new leads from cold traffic are not going to buy right away because you have zero authority. You can be sending them blog posts and videos via email over a period of time. As you teach them certain concepts, they will begin to think of you as an authority.

So, the best way to gain authority is to teach. This is why I have made a lot of sales. I have recruited over 1900 people in my company to date. I have earned over $700,000.00 in my primary company and well over $1 MIL when you include all of my different affiliate marketing companies.

I’m telling you, this stuff works when you position yourself as an authority!

You can make cold traffic work over time through follow up. Once they see begin to see that you are an authority, you will start to convert that traffic.

If you never do videos or blog posts to position yourself as an authority, those traffic sources just will not work. These people will never buy from you.

As you point out Mike, there are different kinds of traffic and ways to turn that cold traffic, leads into sales will have to come from follow up.
